Aspen Ladd's combat sport journey started at the age of 14. She was trained in boxing, kickboxing BJJ and wrestling before making her professional debut at 18 in WCFC with Jaimee Nievera. Ladd took advantage of this win and subsequently went on a 3 fight win streak in Ultimate Reno Combat finishing her opponents within the first round in all the fights. In the following weeks Ladd went on to WCFC again and beat Leslie Rodriguez in a unanimous decision. Aspen had already defeated Silvia Baeghian and Maddy Simmons, before taking against Cynthia Calvillo. Cynthia lost to Aspen by unanimous decision. This put a stain on her record as an amateur. Ladd was able to bounce back to win against Roma Pawelek, taking her record to eight-one. Aspen made her professional debut in 2015, and was signed by Invicta FC to make her professional debut. She faced Ana Carolina Vidal at Invicta FC 11, and defeated her, securing a first-round TKO. Invicta Fc 16 marked her first fight in the Bantamweight division. Aspen defeated Amanda Cooper with an armbar submission in the 2nd round. Aspen's impressive wrestling skills has smashed McGill in the first round, and she managed to finish her opponent in the 3rd round via TKO (elbows and strikes). Aspen had to face Jessica Hoy, at Invicta FC 18. She took on Hoy in an opponent with a catchweight (138.1lb) as Ladd did not make Weight. Aspen still dominated Hoy up to the point where she ended her fight with a TKO. It was Invicta's FC 21 that she fought her last bout for the organization. Invicta FC21, she defeated Sijara Banks by unanimous decision. Aspen Ladd made her UFC debut in UFC Fight Night 118 in the fight against Lina Lansberg. She was a step ahead of Lina with a ground-and-pound strategy to take the win via TKO in the 2nd round. Then, in her third fight she beat Tonya Evinger more convincingly. Ladd won over Evinger in the first round as well as a win of the evening bonus. Her first major fight came when she fought her second opponent at UFC Fight Night dos Anjos and. Lee against Sijara Eubanks in an Invicta FC rematch. Both fighters put on an intense battle that concluded with Ladd beating her opponent by a unanimous vote and both fighters receiving their Fight of the Night bonus. Ladd's first loss came in her next fight against Germaine de Randamie in Ladd's first UFC main event fight. Randamie ended Ladd in 16 seconds and ended her winning streak. After a break of a few seconds her return to the ring and finished Yana Kunizkaya of the UFC in their ESPN 7 third-round fight. Her most recent bout for the UFC she faced Norma Dumont at UFC Fight Night 195 as a substitute fight. The fight was a unanimous decision.
