The singer was born on the 26th of November 1986 in Santa Monica California in the United States of America. She is the sole daughter of Vincenzo Barba. The family relocated from New Jersey's Point Pleasant to Jersey at the age of 6. In terms of her education, she attended Red Bank Catholic High School in New Jersey. After that, she went to Catholic University, where she graduated with a degree in architecture. Since the age of four, she has been a violinist, Violingirl was her nickname. Due to her talents that she was referred to by the name Violin Girl. She taught violin lessons to children in the neighbourhood. When she was nineteen she auditioned for the sixth season of American Idol and sang the 1976 single Free. She was eliminated when she was ranked 16th. There were several songs she performed, including 'The Christmas Song 2009' and 'Out For Blood 2010'. Also, she has appeared featured on Jimmy Kimmel Live! as well as other shows on TV.
