Kat Dennings (n e Katherine Victoria Litwack) was born on the 13th of June at Bryn Mawr Pennsylvania. Ellen was Ellen's mother. She worked as poet and speech therapist. Gerald, her father was a professor as well as a molecular pharmacist. Dennings was born into a Jewish family and was the youngest of children. Dennings went to a school that did not follow the traditional curriculum and did not attend a homeschool. Homeschooling made sense because she hoped to become an actor from an early age. Her ability to complete her high school education when she was the age of 14. At the age of nine, she started to act in commercials. She moved from Los Angeles with her family following high school in order to study acting. Kat Dennings, as she was known at the time, began auditioning. Kat Dennings made her acting debut in HBO's "Sex and the City", in 2000, after moving to LA. Kat Dennings starred in "Sex and the City" in HBO.
